Home Business Or Job Working From Home?

Do you know whether you are looking for a home business or job working from home? Either way, you want to get paid working from home, right?

There are so many working from home opportunities available that it can get confusing at times. Especially if you are looking for ‘data entry working from home’ , typing from home or working online from home.

What we need to remember is that technology keeps increasing and because of all the software that is available now, the data entry and typing from home jobs are harder to find. What you will find in that area is a lot of scams telling you that you can get paid working from home when it is really just you paying them money for information that you will then in turn be trying to get others to pay you for!

Sometimes the phrase ‘home based business opportunity’ is very intimidating for someone that is only looking to make a few extra hundred bucks working from home.

When in all reality it is simply called a business because we will be responsible for our efforts, what hours we work, whether we quit or keep going, etc…

Usually in a ‘working from home business opportunity’ there will be an up front investment, sometimes a monthly fee and usually some advertising expenses, just as in ANY legitimate business.

And in most cases the return on investment or ROI is much greater in a home based business opportunity versus trying to have a job working from home.

Another thing that often happens when you respond to an ad about a work at home job, they will want you to pay for something…either for the information itself, or they will be asking you to type simple ads but you are expected to pay for the advertising, etc.

I know, because I tried the ‘stuffing envelopes working at home’ thing a couple years ago. Sure, the work was easy but it cost to get all the papers printed up to stuff into the envelopes and then the cost of the stamps was huge! Supposedly you get paid a percentage of the orders or something but that didn’t happen for me. Just a lesson I can now pass on to someone else – lol!
